You what's going on with podcast measurement from Brisbane? The latest from Podnews.net with connection free editing from Hindenburg Pro. Ten podcast companies are still not certified for the latest version of the IAB's podcast measurement guidelines, in spite of being asked to do so by the end of 2022. More than a year later, the IAB's list of compliance companies shows Adswiz, anchor, Buzsprout, Captivate, Chartable Libsyn, Megaphone, Podbean, Podtrack and Simplecast are still only compliant to version 20 of the guidelines, something that means they will lose current status, according to the IB Tech lab. The organization also now requires companies to recertify annually, but of 28 compliant companies, only six have recertified in the last twelve months. An IB spokesperson told Pod News last month that we do have several companies.

In process of recertification, and we do expect them to be completed by the end of the year. We will offer a little flexibility to these companies if they are not entirely complete by the end of December so they won't lose certified status.
